Men’s and Women’s Clubs (April thru September)
Lake Cushman Golf Course hosts golf clubs for men, women and couples. This is a great opportunity to meet people and golf with others of your same skill level. You can choose a 9 hole, or an 18 hole club, or play in both. The clubs run April through September and you may join at any time during the season.
The details of each club are outlined below. If you are not an annual member of Lake Cushman Golf Course, then green fees will apply on your club golfing days (see our “Green Fees” page for daily and punch card rates).
You will earn an official handicap through the Golf Handicap and Information Network (GHIN)*.
Monday Night Scramble (May thru September)
Monday Night Scramble is a fun, diverse group of golfers who play a 9-hole, sign up as an individual or couple and the staff will use a foursome scramble format starting at 4:00pm each Monday (excluding holidays). The league is currently facilitated by Cheryl Ulrich, and sign-up in the pro shop prior to 12:00 PM on Monday is required in order to participate. We welcome all skill levels, and play is handicapped to make it equitable for all.
Event Summary:
- Sign up is limited to the first 80
- Deadline for sign up, or cancellation is 1:00 PM on the Monday of play.
- Check-in with facilitator and pay $2.50/person entry fee by 3:45 PM, for play to begin promptly at 4:00 PM (shotgun start).
- Entry fee is $2.50 per person (greens fees are additional, and payable to the golf shop).
- Cash pay outs for Closest-to-the-pin for men and women on holes #4 and #6 are paid at the end of play.
- The field is divided into flights prior to play for pay outs based on team handicap.
- Players who don’t have a USGA handicap are subject to a maximum handicap of 25.
- Format is four person scramble with a two-drive per player requirement. The player whose drive is chosen does not hit the second shot unless it is a par 3 and their drive lands on the green.
- Results are posted in the club room next to the sign-up sheet on Tuesdays, and are also emailed to those who provide their email address to the facilitator.
- Pay out results are emailed to the pro shop by Cheryl on Monday night and posted to credit book accounts by pro shop personnel within the week.

Men’s 9 Hole Club
The 9 Hole Men’s Club meets every Friday morning. It’s a fun group of golfers. On the last Friday of the month we enjoy lunch in together after play.
The 9 Hole players have a closest to the pin competition on Par 3’s.

Men’s 18 Hole Club
The 18 Men’s Club plays on Thursday every week and we encourage you to call the golf shop and join the club.
If you’re new to golf, we will help you learn the rules, etiquette and traditions of this great game. We develop strong friendships and share the challenging experience of golf together.

Women’s 9 Hole Club
The Lake Cushman “Lady Niners” Club is a group who plays 9 holes every Tuesday.
All ladies are welcome to come out and play in this group. They play for a few on course prizes.
The group also plays with other women’s clubs from around the area throughout the year.

Women’s 18 Hole Club
This group of women golfers enjoys golf on Wednesday mornings. They enjoy the game of golf, and the friendships made with women in our club and community. We encourage you to come out and join them.
They have a Club Championship, an Invitational. At the invitational they provide a luncheon and prizes following the event. They participate and have away games at other clubs throughout the season too. Many of their members also belong to the 9 Hole Women’s Club.
